The New York World Wine & Spirits Competition is now
accepting entries for our 2018 judging.
In the Competition’s short, eight-year history, the New York World Wine & Spirits Competition (NYWWSC) has established itself as one of the most respected judging events in the eastern U.S. Our judges, all from the New York area, are among the wine and spirits industry’s most trusted authorities, not only on the subject of quality wines and spirits, but also on the regional tastes and trends that drive the wine and spirits markets.
Wine and spirits producers wishing to gain the attention of east coast distributors and consumers have learned that the NYWWSC medallions awarded to their superior products help open doors and build brand recognition like few other marketing tools can.
As the sister event to the San Francisco International Wine Competition and San Francisco World Spirits Competition—two of the most prestigious judgings in world—the NYWWSC employs the same rigorous methods for ensuring that all entries are tasted fairly, honestly, and thoroughly.
New developments for 2018!
This year, the NYWWSC became a full-fledged member of the Tasting Alliance, the parent organization of the SFWSC and SFIWC. As a result, the New York Competition will be administered by the same management and staff that have helped make the venerable San Francisco Competitions the most respected competitions of their kind.
And as an added bonus, as a Tasting Alliance member the NYWWSC is able to offer special inter-competition pricing: Every 2018 spirits entry that receives “Best of Class” honors in New York will enjoy a 50% reduction for the winning product to compete in the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Every 2018 winery that receives one or more “Best of Class” honors in New York will enjoy a 25% reduction in entry fees for all its wines that compete in the 2019 San Francisco International Wine Competition.
